Who We Are

Raphael represents clients across Pennsylvania and New Jersey in personal injury, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, wrongful death and catastrophic injury, and landlord-tenant matters. Whether advocating for an injured worker, a person harmed by someone else's negligence, a patient harmed by a doctor’s neglect, a tenant facing unsafe living conditions, or a landlord seeking to protect their rights and property, Raphael is committed to providing practical guidance and strong legal representation every step of the way.
Raphael Castro is the founder of Castro Injury Law and the proud son of immigrant parents. Growing up in a working-class Philadelphia neighborhood, he learned the values of honesty and hard work. Throughout his legal career, he has dedicated himself to helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most difficult moments through skilled advocacy, strategic litigation, and compassionate guidance. At Castro Injury Law, we go beyond legal representation. We build relationships, advocate relentlessly, and give back to our community because our work is ultimately about helping people, not just handling cases. After graduating from Temple University, Raphael earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
An accomplished trial attorney, Raphael brings a unique background to his practice. As a former prosecutor, he investigated and litigated hundreds of cases, developing the courtroom skills and advocacy experience that now benefit his clients. He has successfully represented injured workers, accident victims, tenants, and property owners, standing up to insurance companies, large corporations, and opposing parties to pursue the best possible outcomes for his clients. Raphael's work has earned recognition from both the legal profession and the community.
The Legal Intelligencer named him a "Lawyer on the Fast Track," and he was selected by his peers for inclusion in the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. He has also been recognized through leadership fellowships with the Pennsylvania Bar Leadership Institute and the New Leaders Council. Beyond his legal practice, Raphael believes strongly in giving back to the community. He has served in leadership and advisory roles with numerous organizations, including the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA), the 26th Police District Advisory Council, SEAMAAC, the Philadelphia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, City of Philadelphia's Millennial Advisory Committee, Philadelphia Democratic Executive Ward Committee, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Minority Bar Committee.
Raphael believes every client deserves direct access to their attorney, honest communication, and dedicated advocacy. His mission is to provide personalized representation while helping clients move forward with confidence during some of life's most challenging moments.
